Motto
The Motto of NSS "Not Me But You", reflects the essence of democratic living and upholds the need for self-less service. NSS helps the students development & appreciation to other person's point of view and also show consideration towards other living beings. The philosophy of the NSS is a good doctrine in this motto, which underlines on the belief that the welfare of an individual is ultimately dependent on the welfare of the society as a whole and therefore, the NSS volunteers shall strive for the well-being of the society.

The National Service Scheme constituted under the aegis of "Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India."
Department of N.S.S is one of the largest and oldest departments in JSSP College Goveli .
Department of National Service Scheme (N.S.S) established in 2004 and affiliated to MumbaiUniversity, Mumbai.Department is always willful for encouraging and inculcating the socialculture by participating in social activities and providing guidance from basic to advance skillsto the volunteer in most of the students admitted in college. Our Volunteer college teamshave given remarkable performances in all the Activity of N.S.S. Mumbai UniversityActivity’s. Many students represented state and university level Camp. We conducted Monthlypractice sessions for the volunteer in sessions various activity such as leadership program,cleanliness activity. The college also organized many events “CAMP” WORKSHOP,SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME etc. N.S.S. Department of our college is very reputedin the district due to its service & performance and because of this our college is the only choicefor the interested Social activity of the region.Department of National Service Scheme of our collegeis headed by Head of Sociology Department, Prof. Bhagyashree Pawar .Our college is bestchoice for the students/peoples not only for region but also for outside students, and provides bestperformance in academic and in Social as well. We believe in developing ‘Sound Mind in Sound Body’and overall personality development of the students.
