Dear Friends,

It gives me immense pleasure to speak with you through this media and put my honest feelings before you. We have established this Arts, Commerce & Science College. Goveli (known as Goveli College) in 2004.05 with an intent to bring the stream of higher education in this rural backdrop of Kalyan Tahasil which is surrounded by around 60 villages

spread within the radius of 30 kms around Goveli village. Earlier prior to this college 10 & 12 pass out students had to go either Ulhasnagar. Kalyan or Badlapur city colleges to enroll for higher education. It was very difficult for any student to get admission in these colleges because of their rural backing. So many students were deprieved off from the

system of higher education in those years. Parents were not ready to send their girl children after 10 to these distance cities for further education. Looking all these back lash our management decided to establish a unit of higher education in this Goveli village, which is the centre of around 60 villages. But the task was very difficult. We had to face many

obstacles, suffered a lot. But finally succeeded in establishing a successful higher educational institute which you observe today, Friends at this stage we are trying to incorporate human values, ethics, spirituality for the betterment of the society of this area.

Our college intends to create a student of impeccable character who can guide the society on the path of realisation. The modern era is a testing time. It is wielding psychological and physical pressure on an individual. The pandemic situation had created a horrifying condition in the previous academic year. We tried to deliver good as far as possible, but we are not satisfied. We feel that the youngsters are citizens of tomorrow and future hope of mother land. Our object is to lead our product (student) to make more strong, hard-worker, imaginative, courageous to face the probable misfortunes. We try to make them more tolerant & obedient and respect giver. We are trying to bring up our institution as quality driven institution in near future. Our emphasize is always on the currier focused education and make student strong enough so that he should take appropriate decision at appropriate time. The college is going for 2 cycle accreditation in the next year.

We have excelled in sports activities & also in cultural activities in Mumbai University in post 4-5 years. Our NSS unit & DLLE unit have performed well in past few years. Students passing percentage was more than 85 percent in the last 2 to 3 year, Our institution adopt proper strategy and policies to fulfill national commitment by giving admission to diversity of students which include students from various categories like

SC ST OBC Women Differently abled Minority Economically weaker section students. During last 15 years the college has contributed towards social well being in many ways like tree plantation, river cleaning, adoption of villages, road repairing, help to flood affected people. creation of religious harmony and many more. Now our target is to make the college centre for excellence in coming two three years. At the end, I dont forget the efforts of my staff

and the society who helped me in one or other way, in my journey of this nature.
